Alerts are notifications sent in response to events about specific Contacts, and users can view a quick summary of upcoming alerts or filter them by subject, Contact, Company, type, originator, or time frame. The new Alert update notifications display the number of unread Alerts in real time, ensuring you’re immediately aware of recent activity. Additionally, if enabled by your System Administrator, you can download the List of Alerts to a .csv file for further review.
New Unread Alerts Notification
The Unread Alerts notification has been added to prompt users to review their new alerts. This feature can be configured as follows:
- Go to Settings > Notifications > Alert Day Range.
- Specify the day range by entering a number for:
- _ days ago (to capture past alerts)
- _ days ahead (to capture upcoming alerts)
Only alerts that fall within the specified range will generate the unread alerts notification. See Configuring Alert Preferences to learn more.
View Quick Summary of Recent Alerts
- Click on the bell icon
on any page.

Click on the blue hyperlinks to drill down into specific information.
Filter Alerts
- Click on the Alerts tab. The page will default to the most recent Alerts on top.
- Filter the Alerts:
- Select a From day(s) ago and To day(s) ahead date range to indicate the time span that you want to include in your search.
- Click the filter symbol
next to a column heading to begin setting the filter. For example, to display only faxes sent to a Contact, click the filter symbol
next to Type and type "fax" in the Filter Type... space.
Download a List of Alerts
- Click on the Alerts tab.
- Click the download icon

If the download icon is not available, it has been disabled by your System Administrator.
