Editing an Objective

As you work through your business development plan, your goals and objectives may change. After you create an Objective, you can also edit select fields that are directly associated with the Objective. The following fields cannot be edited through the Objective:

• Companies Targeted
• Involved

• Initiatives

  Because companies and individuals involved are part of Initiatives, you edit them at the Initiative level. Changes at the Initiative level will be reflected at the Objective level.

Edit an Objective

1. Select Business Planning from the menu on the left.
2. Select the Objective you want to edit.
3. Select Edit Objective.
4. Edit the Objective as needed. Refer to Create an Objective for details on each field.

5. Click Save.

   Business Planning features are only available to Strategic Data users.

Delete an Objective

Delete an Objective if it was created in error. Only administrators and the person who created the Objective can delete it.

1. Select Business Planning from the menu on the left.
2. Select the Objective you want to delete.
3. Select Edit Objective.
4. On the bottom left, click Delete Objective.
