Individual Contacts in a list can be flagged using color-coded labels defined in the Marketing or Working List to indicate their status or specific information, such as tracking RSVP responses for events. Flags are temporary markers stored locally on your system and not within the firm database; you can set a flag for a contact from the list and later clear it when it's no longer needed.
Individual Contacts in a List can be flagged to indicate the status or special information about the Contact. Flagging is used in conjunction with a Marketing List or a Working List. Flags are color-coded with labels that are defined when creating the Working List or Marketing List. Flags usually set for only a period of time; you can clear the set flag when it is no longer needed.
For example, suppose you have a Holiday Party Working List, you can use Flags to track the party RSVPs. Using the Holiday Party List example, you can set the Green Flag to represent RSVP received and set the Red Flag to indicate RSVP not received. Flags are not stored with the Contact in the firm database. Flagging information is stored on the local system only.
To flag Contacts, the Flags must first be enabled and defined in the Working List.
