Working Lists are a convenient way to organize Contacts. For example, you may want to organize Contacts for a specific project. Creating a Working List makes it easier to select Contacts to perform bulk actions upon. When creating a Working List, you have the option of enabling Flagging for the Contacts in the List.
For example, suppose you have a Holiday Party Working List, you can use Flags to track the party RSVPs. You can set the Green Flag to represent RSVP received, and set the Red Flag to indicate RSVP not received. You can also define a Flag that will automatically flag new Contact that are added to the List. This can be helpful in tracking communications for the List. Using the Holiday Party example, suppose you send out your invitations the beginning of November. You will want to track new Contacts who are added to the List throughout the month to send the new Contacts invitations after the bulk mailing. For more information and instructions, refer to Contact Types.
Flags are not stored with the Contact in the firm database. Flagging information is stored on the local system only.
