End users can configure their personal news preferences for their Contacts. For example, you can choose to view real time news on your Contacts. The news that is Powered by Nexis Newsdesk can be viewed by clicking on the news icon on the Contact Details page.
- Click on the Settings tab.
- Under General Management, select General Settings.
- From the Preferred contact view drop-down, select your preferred Contact view:
- Activities
- Relationships
- Lists

Optional: Select the Display contact news toggle to enable the News icon on the Contact Details page.
- From the Days back for news list, select the number of days back for which you want the system to check for news.
- Select a language for the news.
- Select the option for more or less items containing the search terms.
- Add search terms to see more or less frequently in News Terms.
- Click TRAIN to configure news related to contacts.
