Tasks are individual action items—such as gathering information, doing research, or packaging materials—that help move your Initiatives and Opportunities forward. They are displayed in a grid (with open tasks at the top and closed tasks at the bottom) where you can sort, filter, and view tasks assigned to you or your entire firm.
Tasks are the actionable items assigned to individuals that need to be done to keep your Initiatives moving forward and your Opportunities moving through your pipeline. Whether you’re gathering information, doing research, packaging materials, or engaging with Contacts and internal personnel, Tasks allow you to organize the work that needs to be done to see your Initiatives and Opportunities through to closure.
Tasks display in the grid with open Tasks at the top, and closed Tasks at the bottom. From here, you can view all Firm Tasks for your firm or Tasks assigned to you on the My Tasks tab. The Due Date for overdue Tasks will display in red on the grid. Like the main pages for Initiatives and Opportunities, you can rearrange the columns and sort and filter the Tasks. You can also configure the page and sort and filter Tasks. For example, you may want to view all the Tasks for an Opportunity, Company, Practice Group or Due Date.

- To navigate to Tasks, click on the Tasks tab.
- Click on the Task name in the list to open Edit Task window.

Click the Firm Tasks tab near the top to display all open Tasks for your firm, or the My Tasks to display only Tasks assigned to you. The red Due Date means that the Due Date has passed. If the Task has a strike though, the Task has been closed.
Essential + users will only see My Tasks. They will not see Firm Tasks.

to the far right to open a window to:
- Drag and drop the column headings in the desired order
- Click
to choose the columns you want displayed
- Click
to hide columns
- Click
in any header to sort the list (ascending, descending)
