Bulk Actions

- Dismiss: Hide selected companies from view. Dismissed items are replaced to maintain the overall content count.
-
Set Preferences: For premium integrations (such as Lexis+ with enhanced capabilities), a Set Preferences button is available.
- Define which content types are most relevant to your client focus (for example, only open IP-related cases).
This option is not available for the basic Nexis Newsdesk™ integration.
Single-Item Actions
-
Send to Myself:
- Email a single content item.
- Opens your email client with the URL pre-filled.
-
Emailing a Specific Company:
Limited to a single content item per company.
The email automatically includes the contacts associated with that company’s list.
You may edit or remove recipients as needed.
-
Dismiss:
- Hide an individual item from your view.
Each dismissed item is replaced to keep content totals consistent.
- News and Legal Updates: View full articles from Nexis Newsdesk™ (always available), or—if enabled—Lexis+® News and Legal News® and dockets from CourtLink®.
- Copy Link: Copy docket or article URL.
Best Practices
- Choose a Smaller List: For optimal performance, keep the contact list to 25 or fewer contacts.
- Leverage Bulk Actions: Use the Send to Myself and Dismiss bulk actions to efficiently manage content and quickly follow up on items of interest.
- Set and Adjust Preferences: (Premium Users) Once you configure your content preferences, the settings will persist across visits. Modify these settings later if your focus shifts or if additional content integrations become available.
Troubleshooting
The chart outlines common Key Client Radar issues, their likely causes, and recommended solutions for resolving display, preference, or email recipient problems.
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| No content displays | Integrations may not be linked, or your contact list may not be connected. |
1. Confirm your CourtLink® and/or Lexis+ accounts are linked. 2. Verify that the correct contact list is selected in Key Client Radar. |
| “Set Preferences” button is missing | This option is only available with premium integrations. | If you are using Nexis Newsdesk™ only, this feature will not appear. Upgrade to Lexis+ for access to content preference settings. |
| Email recipients are incorrect | The contact list for that company may not be accurate. | Review and update the associated contact list in InterAction+. Edit recipients as needed before sending. |
| Cannot access Key Client Radar | Your firm admin may have opted out of Key Client Radar. | Confirm with your admin whether your firm has disabled Key Client Radar in Firm Settings › Content Integrations. |
