Working with Custom Field Widgets or Tiles

Administrators can create up to five active Custom Field Widgets, or Tiles to display the Custom Opportunity fields on the Opportunity Overview page. The Custom Field Widget names display across the top of the page. Active Widgets are displayed in black. Inactive Widgets display in blue. You may have up to five active Custom Field Widgets.

Widgets with at least on active Custom Field will display in the list for that Tile. If you create a Custom Field Widget with no Custom Fields, that Widget will not display on the Opportunity Overview page. You can specify the display order of the Custom Fields in that Tile. Widgets that have no Custom Fields assigned to them can be deleted.

Add a New Widget/Tile to Contain Custom Fields

1. Select the Settings tab and select Custom Fields under Pipeline Management.
2. Click the Add Widget button. The Add Custom Field Widget form opens.
3. Name: Enter a unique name to display on the Widget.
4. Optional: If you want to make the Widget inactive, click the Active toggle.
5. Save your changes.

Edit a Custom Widget

1. Select the Settings tab and select Custom Fields under Pipeline Management. The custom widgets display as tabs above the list of fields.
2. Select the Widget you want to edit.
3. Click the Edit icon next to the Widget name.
4. In the Edit Custom Field Widget from, make updates to Name, Display Order and/or Status.
5. Save your changes.

Delete an Existing Custom Widget

Only Widgets with no Custom Fields in them can be deleted.

1. Select the Settings tab and select Custom Fields under Pipeline Management.
2. Find the Widget that you want to delete.
3. Click the Edit icon next to the Widget. In the Edit Custom Widget pane, click Delete. The widget is deleted from the list.
